Steamship Irvin

The historic Great Lakes steamship, the William A. Irvin, has been brought back to life as a floating museum on the Duluth Waterfront. It served as the flagship of U.S. Steel's fleet and carried its cargoes of iron ore for 40 years before its retirement in 1978. Open for tours May 1 through mid-October adjacent to the Duluth Arena Auditorium.
