Virginia Heritage Museum

A complex consisting of a building that had formerly been the home for the Olcott Park superintendents, a Finnish log house that had been built in the early 1900's and a former tourist cabin. In the main building we have permanent exhibits on the logging industry, the inter-urban electric car system and Virginia area history as well as changeable exhibits. The log house holds many artifacts that would have been in an early Iron Range homestead. The tourist cabin has displays that include an old time barbershop, a beauty shop and a dentist office. Located at 800 Olcott Park, 9th Ave. No. in Virginia. Open May - September, Tuesday - Saturday from 11:00 to 4:00 and from October-April, Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 - 4:00.
